My fiance and I had a great impromptu date night at Litty Fatty! The drinks were quite strong for our taste but we were most impressed by how fast service is! We put in our orders and they come out maybe less than 10 min. The ambiance is one of other favorite things about the place. But we went on a weekday night and it took 10 min for parking and almost an hour to get into the restaurant. I might be mistaken but the yelp menu does not reflect what's on the actual restaurant menu. Maybe there's a different menu for day and night?

Always down for a dinner at lil fatty! Dim lighting, sexy bar, and great food. This is THE spot in Mar Vista for a casual dining experience or a nice date night. I haven't tried many drinks, but they have an extensive cocktail menu and everything looks delicious. As for the food, you can't go wrong with the noodles... the beef chow fun and Dan Dan noodles are both great. The Asian greens which is very garlicky (beware if on dates) is a HUGE portion and tasty. I could do without the cauliflower, I'm not a huge fan and it doesn't keep well if you have leftovers! The beef roll appetizer with a dipping sauce (au ju?) is interesting and really good as well!

This impromptu visit may turn into a regular spot for me. Ambiance: The place was crowded, but not in an overwhelming way. I didn't make a reservation, but was able to get a seat at the bar. The inside decor was trendy and fun and the music was excellent definitely a vibe! I arrived around 9 PM, so I'm not sure if it would be different earlier in the day. But it was still drawing a crowd around 10 PM. It was getting pretty noisy, so might be difficult for chill conversation unless you're okay with being right up on each other. Food: Since I don't eat pork, I was disappointed that so many delicious looking dishes had combination meats with pork. These dishes are pre-mixed, so there's no option to modify. That said, what I did eat with excellent! Beef Roll - was on point for flavor! I wish I had taken a picture for you, but it looks exactly as pictured on the menu. The meat was tender and flavorful with a nice little kick to it. The broth was rich and you could dip a little bit of your beef into it for that extra umph. Not certain why this is not considered an entrée, because it was definitely hearty. Walnut Shrimp - talk about deliciousness! This dish was flawless from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of creamy and rich. Again, the flavor was on point. Only negative I can speak of was that I wanted more. Drinks: I give credit to the establishment because their menu is robust and complex and it's flavors. I enjoyed two drinks based on the bartenders recommendation. Both were made very well, however, one was more to my liking (ONLY because of taste preference, not because it was made poorly). The Revolutionary - I was expecting a more Rum forward and robust taste to this drink. Instead, it was more on the tart and acidic side. The Caregiver - surprisingly creamy and spirit forward with a great lingering taste. Very well-made. Service: the service was pretty average. The bartender I had was constantly bombarded with drink orders, so I was very impressed that she was able to get things out without issue. There wasn't too much banter or inquiry on the taste of my drinks or food, so it was more a grab and go feel. But considering I was sitting at the bar, enjoying food and drinks, I would've liked a little more exchange or attention to check in. I likely would have tried more drinks if that were the case. Overall, I highly recommend given this place to try !

Became one of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants after trying it just once! It's the perfect place for a date night or a nice putting with a small group of friends. It's very dim setting and it sets the mood because who doesn't love a modern restaurant in a dim setting. The bar adds a lovely asthetic to the entire restaurant as well. For appetizers, we got the beef roll and it was so good. Especially with the sauce that it comes with. Literally drowned my beef roll in it. Then for our entrees, I got the bok choy, fatty noodles, and honey walnut shrimp. the bok choy and fatty noodles was AMAZING, and my girlfriend said the honey walnut shrimp was one of her favorites (i'm allergic). As for drinks, lemme tell you that they don't short you on alcohol. As you can see I have some food photos missing. I may have gotten a little drunk. Their specialty cocktails are really good! Our waiter was very helpful and kind the first time. He gave great recommendations and was attentive and quick with everything. Love this place.

This big fatty met Little Fatty one Friday evening and it was a pairing like no other. Being my first time, I diversified my menu choices to explore all the fatty goodness. The pork bun with bbq pork shank was the highlight of the evening. It's a large fried pork bone in shank that had chunks of deliciously glazed pork with a crispy skin and tender succulent meat. Add the savory vinegary beansprout chopped carrot and mint leaves topping in a soft and supple bao bun and you have an epic little fatty signature dish. Excellent. I had a few drinks from the house recipe cocktails and they were good as well. Get the beef rolls and walnut shrimp too. You will not be disappointed. Go Little Fatty go.

Officially a Fatty fan. Excellent service. Modern and fun vibe. Outstanding food. Here you'll find elevated, thoughtful, authentic, filling, and delicious Taiwanese and Chinese inspired plates. You can tell that the "Fattys" care about the taste, presentation, and variety of everything on the menu. Everything was a hit. But the kung pao chicken was probably the best I've ever had. I always come hungry, so I appreciate swift service. And we got our food within 15 minutes of being seated. Loved that. If you think you can't find good Taiwanese and Chinese food on the west side, then think again. Little Fatty is the bomb .com.
